Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern enrollment in and use of transportation services provided by Lil’ Wheels Express (“Lil’ Wheels Express,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By enrolling a child, paying for transportation services, or otherwise using Lil’ Wheels Express, the parent or legal guardian (“Parent” or “Guardian”) acknowledges and agrees to these Terms.
1. SERVICES
Lil’ Wheels Express provides private student transportation services, including scheduled transportation to and/or from approved schools, childcare facilities, homes, and other approved locations.
Services are subject to:
-
Route availability
-
Driver availability
-
Service-area limitations
-
School schedules
-
Vehicle capacity
-
Weather conditions
-
Traffic conditions
-
Safety considerations
-
Payment status
Enrollment does not guarantee that every requested route, school, schedule, or transportation change can be accommodated.
2. ELIGIBILITY
Lil’ Wheels Express generally provides transportation for children within the age ranges accepted by the company.
Parents and guardians must provide accurate information regarding the child's age, school, grade, transportation schedule, pickup/drop-off locations, and any information reasonably necessary to safely provide transportation.
Lil’ Wheels Express reserves the right to decline or discontinue transportation when we reasonably determine that transportation cannot be provided safely or operationally.
3. REGISTRATION
A registration fee may be required before transportation begins.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, registration and enrollment fees are non-refundable because they cover administrative processing, route planning, and enrollment setup.
Registration does not guarantee placement on a particular route until transportation availability has been confirmed by Lil’ Wheels Express.
4. TRANSPORTATION FEES
Current transportation rates will be disclosed during enrollment or renewal.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, transportation fees reserve the child's space on an established route and are not based solely on the number of days the child actually rides.
Fees may therefore remain due for absences, vacations, family schedule changes, or other missed transportation days when the child's route space continues to be reserved.
5. PAYMENT
Transportation payments must be made according to the payment schedule established during enrollment.
Failure to make payment when due may result in:
-
Late fees
-
Suspension of transportation
-
Removal from the transportation route
-
Termination of services
Parents and guardians remain responsible for all outstanding balances and applicable fees.
Lil’ Wheels Express may require past-due balances to be paid before transportation resumes.
6. PICKUP AND DROP-OFF
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that children are ready at the designated pickup time.
Drivers cannot substantially delay an established route while waiting for a child who is not ready.
Repeated delays may result in additional fees, route changes, or termination of transportation services.
Lil’ Wheels Express will release children only according to the transportation arrangements and authorization information maintained on file.
Parents must notify Lil’ Wheels Express of changes to approved pickup or drop-off arrangements.
7. SCHOOL DISMISSAL PROCEDURES
Parents and guardians are responsible for notifying the child's school that the child is authorized to leave with Lil’ Wheels Express.
When applicable, parents must ensure that the child is placed on the school's daycare, private transportation, or authorized pickup list.
Lil’ Wheels Express is not responsible for delays caused by a school failing to release a child according to the transportation instructions provided by the parent.
8. ROUTE TIMES AND DELAYS
Pickup and drop-off times are estimates and may change because of:
-
Traffic
-
Accidents
-
Road construction
-
School dismissal delays
-
Weather
-
Vehicle issues
-
Emergency situations
-
Route modifications
-
Other circumstances outside our reasonable control
Lil’ Wheels Express will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays when possible.
A delay does not automatically entitle a family to a refund or credit.
9. SEAT BELTS AND SAFETY
All passengers must comply with applicable safety requirements and Lil’ Wheels Express safety policies.
Children must remain properly seated and use required seat belts or child passenger safety equipment while the vehicle is moving.
Children may not:
-
Unbuckle while the vehicle is moving
-
Move around the vehicle while it is moving
-
Distract the driver
-
Fight or engage in unsafe physical behavior
-
Throw objects
-
Open vehicle doors without authorization
-
Engage in conduct that creates a safety risk
Safety violations may result in disciplinary action or termination of transportation services.
10. BOOSTER SEATS AND CHILD PASSENGER SAFETY
Lil’ Wheels Express may provide booster seats when required or appropriate.
Parents and guardians must provide accurate information necessary to determine appropriate transportation arrangements.
All child passenger safety requirements will be handled in accordance with applicable law and company safety procedures.
11. BEHAVIOR POLICY
Lil’ Wheels Express expects respectful and safe behavior from all passengers.
Behavior including bullying, fighting, threats, profanity directed toward drivers or other children, property damage, repeated refusal to follow safety instructions, or conduct that interferes with safe vehicle operation is prohibited.
Lil’ Wheels Express generally uses a three-warning disciplinary process for behavior concerns.
However, Lil’ Wheels Express reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate transportation without completing all three warnings when behavior presents a serious or immediate safety risk to the driver, passenger, another child, or the public.
12. ILLNESS
Children should not ride with Lil’ Wheels Express when they are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness or when their school would otherwise require them to remain home.
If a child becomes ill during transportation, Lil’ Wheels Express will make reasonable efforts to contact the parent, guardian, or emergency contact.
Parents are responsible for promptly responding to emergency or illness-related communications.
13. WEATHER AND SCHOOL CLOSURES
If a school closes because of severe weather or other emergency conditions, Lil’ Wheels Express may also suspend transportation services.
Transportation may also be delayed, modified, or canceled when Lil’ Wheels Express determines that road or weather conditions create an unreasonable safety risk.
Safety takes priority over maintaining a scheduled route.
14. ABSENCES AND SCHEDULE CHANGES
Parents should notify Lil’ Wheels Express as soon as possible when a child will not require transportation.
Parents must receive confirmation before assuming that a requested permanent or temporary route change has been approved.
Drivers should not be asked directly to make unauthorized route or destination changes.
15. EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION
Parents and guardians must maintain accurate emergency contact information.
Lil’ Wheels Express may contact emergency services when we reasonably believe a medical or safety emergency exists and the parent or guardian cannot be reached promptly.
16. VEHICLE OR DRIVER CHANGES
Lil’ Wheels Express may use different vehicles or authorized drivers when necessary to maintain transportation services.
Operational changes may occur because of maintenance, scheduling, emergencies, staffing, route management, or other legitimate business reasons.
All drivers utilized by Lil’ Wheels Express must satisfy the company's applicable driver and safety requirements.
17. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Children are responsible for their personal belongings.
Lil’ Wheels Express is not responsible for ordinary loss, theft, or damage involving items left in transportation vehicles, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
Parents should label important belongings whenever possible.
18. CANCELLATION OF SERVICES
Parents wishing to discontinue transportation should provide the notice required by their enrollment agreement or current cancellation policy.
Amounts already paid may be non-refundable when they cover a reserved route position or service period, except when otherwise required by law or expressly agreed to by Lil’ Wheels Express.
Any outstanding balance remains the responsibility of the parent or guardian after cancellation.
19. TERMINATION BY LIL’ WHEELS EXPRESS
Lil’ Wheels Express may suspend or terminate services for reasons including:
-
Nonpayment
-
Repeated late payments
-
Unsafe behavior
-
Repeated policy violations
-
Harassment or threatening behavior toward drivers or staff
-
Providing materially inaccurate enrollment information
-
Repeated unauthorized schedule changes
-
Circumstances making transportation unsafe or impractical
-
Other material violations of these Terms or the enrollment agreement
Immediate termination may occur when necessary to protect the safety of children, drivers, staff, or the public.

Parents are responsible for maintaining current contact information and reviewing service-related communications.
22. EMERGENCIES AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS
Lil’ Wheels Express will make reasonable efforts to provide scheduled transportation but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service under all circumstances.
Service may be affected by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, accidents, mechanical issues, emergencies, governmental actions, school closures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
When possible, families will be notified of significant service interruptions.
23. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lil’ Wheels Express will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from delays, school release issues, schedule disruptions, lost personal belongings, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any right or liability that cannot legally be waived or limited under applicable law.
24. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by law, the parent or guardian agrees to be responsible for losses, damages, or expenses resulting from materially false information provided during enrollment, unauthorized transportation instructions, or the intentional misconduct of the parent, guardian, or enrolled child.
This provision does not require a parent or guardian to indemnify Lil’ Wheels Express for liability that cannot legally be transferred or waived.
25. PRIVACY
Personal information collected through enrollment and transportation services will be handled according to the Lil’ Wheels Express Privacy Policy.
26. CHANGES TO SERVICES OR POLICIES
Lil’ Wheels Express may update its policies, procedures, routes, schedules, rates, or Terms as business needs, safety requirements, or applicable laws change.
When appropriate, families will receive notice of material changes.
Continued use of services after an updated policy becomes effective may constitute acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
27. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute will be handled in accordance with applicable Texas law and any separate written agreement between Lil’ Wheels Express and the parent or guardian.
28. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
